Everything arrived in a well packaged box. Assembly was relatively easy. Followed various youtube videos for assembly and leveling. Printed one of the test STL files. Came out very well for my first print. Well pleased! My only criticism is the instructions that come with the printer which is nothing but pictures.

This is my second printer, first is a Longer LK1. The Ender 3 went together fine, took longer than I expected, but part of that is my arthritic fingers. Leveled the plate and started printing, no problems with Benchy, nice print. BUT it was impossible to remove it from the coated aluminium sheet print plate without ripping it off. Changed the print plate to a glass mirror, now prints release on their own as soon as the plate cools. Nice machine for the price other than the print plate.

Best value for your money! Assembly is like a basic lego set. Prints are excellent quality. Nothing like it for $200. Bed adjustment is sub-par, and all they needed were slightly stiffer springs. Very easy fix that they should include in the box.

This is my first 3d printer. I only wish mesh leveling was included. Not automagically done with the sensor like a BLTouch, but the kind in version 2.0... But I'm learning a lot and making things that please my wife for her and our grandchildren. She's so pleased that she insisted that I buy another Ender 3, which I did. That was a very good thing because in a foolish moment I accidentally put the nippers too close to the hot end fan and two of the fan blades snapped off. And as luck would have it, they are backordered and I'm having to wait about a month, so far, for a replacement. Our plan was to print bigger jobs on one printer, keeping it running all the time, while printing small jobs on the other printer. Murphy's Law rules, unfortunately. But, I'm very pleased that I picked possibly the most popular 3D printer in the world with a wealth of knowledge out there for the gleaning... Okay, now to see if the direct-drive extruder I ordered might need closer than expected (not likely, I'm thinking).

the Ender-3 is great. i had one, and i just ordered another one. i leave one set up for ABS/ASA and the other set up for PLA. i specifically did not order the Pro, because it just wasn't worth the extra money. i will say that dealing with the company itself is a total pain in the ass, and they are a little loose on taking responsibility for anything, but i like the products.

Bought the ender 3 for a bases for a custom 400x400x500 build. I think the budget that this machine falls in is outstanding for what you get. 160 for a WORKING printer is beyond great for a beginner getting their feet wet.

The printer is very nice, especially for the cost. High quality prints. Shipping was fast, assembly was easy enough until I got to the x-axis belt. The one they included was too small. Reached out to them the day it got delivered, still haven't heard anything from them about a replacement. Luckily my local tech store carries Creality parts and they had a belt in stock. I'd hope they would email by now but they haven't. The item is a 5 star item but the service makes it 3. I'd be happy to change my rating if they make it right but from other things I've read on these reviews, the company is lacking when it comes to post sale service. Prove me wrong people!

I purchased the Ender 3 as a donation for the school my children go to. I was both surprised and disappointed with the amount of upgrades I can add to this machine. The reason for the disappointment is that I purchased a CR-20 for my self, supposedly an better machine, and it is in many ways; however, in many more ways it is not. For the Ender 3 I can upgrade the motherboard for quieter operation, or, I can add a BL-touch, and I can even add a dual-extruder setup. None of this is possible with the CR-20 the "better" model. I will happily continue to upgrade this machine for the school and teach them all the cool things it can do; however, the same support should be available for the more expensive machines.

Over the past two years I've occasionally thought about delving into 3D printing, but each time I nervously wavered and then moved on. I'm not technically or mechanically inclined, and few that know me would call me patient. It sounded like a disaster waiting to happen. And I didn't want to spend the time and money on a new hobby that completely failed. However, a couple months ago the urge came back. This time, though, I went ahead and spent significant time researching options and determining if 3D printing and I would be a good fit for each other. After much thought (plus seeing all the helpful resources out there online!) I decided to take a chance and ordered an Ender 3 kit. I'm happy to report it is TOTALLY worth it! The printer arrived in just a few days after ordering, and it was packed well (thankfully, because the delivery guy set it on the porch wrong side up!!--caused some things to move around but it turned out okay). I'm using the printer just about every day. I used some great "how to build" videos on YouTube to ensure I assembled it well, and my first print turned out great! I was worried about "leveling" the bed, but it's actually not difficult at all. I use my printer mostly to create components for board and miniatures games. Once I learn this craft well enough I'm going to try and print a few miniatures as well. This has even inspired me to learn 3D sculpting!! Buying an Ender 3 has become one of the best purchasing decisions I've made. It is well made, reliable, and there's plenty of support out there from many sources if you run into any trouble. It's not "plug and play", but I knew that when I started. Thanks Creality!

I like the printer & have no problems with it. the shipping & purchasing was questionable at best. I selected US stock. I was issued tracking for it within the said time frame. The issue comes in the fact it was 2-3 weeks before it actually shipped. I am a shipping manager for a company that receives shipments from China. It takes about 3 weeks to get a shipment in if it was ready to ship. This makes me believe that the US stocks are not actually in the US & in fact are shipped to LA & then reshipped out to the customer. I actually did order an accessory & even in that 3 weeks to took to actually ship my printer I had not received tracking on it. All I have to say is buy with caution from this seller & do so with a way that you can dispute the charge if needed.

The ender 3 is a pretty good machine. My son has had a lot of fun with it. The problem is with the customer service. I purchased the upgraded MK8 Aluminum Extruder drive feed. I did not receive the part. I let them know that it didn't arrive, and tried to work with them for over a month, giving them all of the information that I had. After a month, they still couldn't tell me where the part was. I'd had enough. I won't be buying anything else from them.

I had 5 (now 6) Ender 3's with a few mods that I use for printing PPE, machine parts, and combat robots with. The Ender 3 is a great and simple machine which performs as well as much more expensive printers in it's size range. When people ask me what printer is a good first machine, I always suggest the E3.

I had a different 3D printer for 3 or 4 years. I even upgraded to the "Pro" . This new Ender 3 "Pro" is Great much nicer than the first one. Big build volume as well. Watch the videos before assembly and yo won't make my mistake. Once assembled WOW!!! I really like this printer.

i have had very few issues with the printer, it works very well right out of the box. i've had only 3 main issues, 1 being bed adhesion, fixed by using glue sticks or some other adhesive. 2 being just recently i've had the extruder motor stop working during a 6 hour print, which could have been cause the nozzle was clogged or because it was very hot, i but i've only seen it once in my nearly 100 hours of printing. my last complaint is that the clips to hold the bed onto the heating piece take up build volume, and can be knocked off while printing the first few layers.

Printing great! Just wished it had better setup manual versus the one that came with it however managed to get it all together correctly, thank you YouTube for that. And include some pro tips from your staff on steps that can be done during initial DIY installs steps that can help you later on leveling and adjusting printer. The install guide or installation steps should match the great quality product. But greatly satisfied with the prints and the printer.

Love the printer. Was easy enough to build. Went to youtube and found 3 or 4 videos and installed in 3 hours (no experience whatsoever with 3d printers). I found that they send a few models and PLA with the build so I tested it out. To my dismay, they do not send enough PLA to create the model that they send.... Kind of lackluster. Would have been a 5star, but for the obvious "let's save money, but LOOK nice" trope. Overall, definitely worth the money.... Just... be aware.

Great entry level 3d printer. For the price over all its a good value. Some draw backs. Bed leveling is difficult. The bed only has one support so it can wobble.

For a few years I have had ideas drawn down on paper that I've always wanted to make products for the automotive industry and with this 3-D printer I've been able to do just that. Incredibly modded and easy to use. Ever since I unpacked the machine I have been experimenting and upgrading it. I'm currently printing carbon fiber nylon which the stock printer cannot do, but that shows you that the open source platform gives you an endless amount of possibilities.

I'll be honest, I was pretty skeptical... I had an Anet A8 and had a lot of issues with that printer. Then I had issues with shipping through Creality... Bought it on the 6th, said it was going to ship on the 9th... couldn't get a hold of anyone to inquire about shipping... printer didn't ship until the 16th... supposed to be delivered on the 20th, went out for delivery on the 20th, went back to the shipping company on the 20th... finally showed up on the 21st. I finally set it up last night, and I am very pleased with this purchase! One of the issues that I had with the A8 is I couldn't get anything to adhere to the bed... I have the opposite problem now... I'm having issues getting the print off of the bed! I'm ok with that though. I've already started printing things for my in-laws, my daughter wants a few things, and I just ordered more filament so I can make a Lack Enclosure. This printer is awesome! I watched some how-to vids on YouTube about tips and tricks for assembly, all of the little things they said to look for didn't apply to this printer. All of the rollers were nice and tight, with a couple of clamps for woodworking, it was very easy to keep it all squared up. Thank you Creality!

This is my 2nd Ender3. I have to say the Ender3 is, by far, the easiest printer to assemble and get printing well right out of the box. I had the machine assembled in an hour and had a beautiful test print finished, about 3hrs later. I noted an improvement during assembly that I must give kudos to Creality: the filament infeed hole in the moveable extruder arm now has a brass liner. The only thing negative I can say isn't really a negative: the print bed on this 2nd printer is extremely grabby and holds prints so well they are hard to remove. This is OK for me because I always replace the build plate with a Mamorubot plate as they are grabby (but not too grabby) and automatically release the print when the plate reaches room temperature. The 2 changes I would like to see are: 1) a couple holes in both of the frame uprights to tighten the X-axis beam screws so the X is parallel to the base and perpendical to the uprights. 2) A couple pre-cut wooden dowels to support the X-axis beam during assembly to insure the beam is parallel to the base.

I'm new to 3D printing. Did my research before I bought the Ender 3. I've been a Broadcast Engineer for almost 40 years. Seen allot of change in electronics during my career. I use Autodesk LT for technical drawings. So I choose Autodesk Fusion 360 to design with. It amazes me a low cost printer, makes prints with about 100 micron accuracy. First prints were some suggested upgrades for the Ender 3. Then I went into design mode. I've made microphone clips to a new valve handle for a Margaretta machine. The Ender 3 is defiantly the right choice to get into 3D printing. All metal framing makes it rugged and accurate.
